Hey! I'm Aaron Polar, based in San Francisco. I work as an IT Consultant, and I also run my own independent practice, SF Tech Consultants, where I help clients — including retirees learning to navigate today's technology — use their devices with real confidence.

Right now I'm focused on building a career in GRC and cybersecurity, working toward roles in governance, risk, and compliance. I'm following a structured certification roadmap, starting with CompTIA A+, to pair that goal with recognized, hands-on skills. My foundation is a B.S. in Economics from the University of San Francisco, which shapes the analytical, risk-aware way I approach problems.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me out on the water fishing, exploring new restaurants and writing reviews on Yelp, or gaming. I created this website as a personal project on March 12, 2024, and it's grown right alongside me ever since.
